How To Load |
Halo Arms .50 BMG rifles are designed around the unique bottom load / eject operating system. The operator has the tactical ability to control the load / ejection of fired or unfired ammunition in 2 ways. First, fired ammunition can be routinely ejected straight down in front of the operator for easy recovery. Second, the operator can simply hand recover fired or unfired ammunition by placing the free hand under the load / eject port. This operating system is ideal for tactical applications where minimizing position compromise is essential. This technique eliminates the awkward reaching around the stock and trying to catch the ejected ammunition, as with all standard rifles. Target shooters who inspect fired brass will appreciate the ease of having a fired or unfired round drop directly into their hand. Standard rifles pose a safety risk when unloading live ammunition, damage to any ammunition can occur by ejecting to the side and onto the ground. |
