HA 50 FTR (Field Tactical Rifle)

The Halo Arms, Field Tactical Rifle is the ultimate man portable rifle which provides a rugged platform for all shooters and special operations groups. The compact length in combination with perfect balance about the vertical grip allows for ultra fast maneuverability and excellent ergonomics. Design intent provides superior control and easy reloading from any standing, knealing or prone position.

Standard features are as follows: Length fixed at 48" Weight of 25lbs, with iron sights. Single shot action with 90 degree bolt throw and hand lapped bolt lugs. Standard matte black, custom colors available. High efficiency muzzle break with easy to clean single chamber design. Felt recoil similar to 2 3/4, 20 ga slug shotgun. 22" chrome molly barrel with 1:15 twist for ammo versatility. Military grade hybrid chamber for use with military and match rounds. Vertical, aluminum front grip. Quick deploy bipod. Large bottom load / eject port to handle long length rounds. Long one piece Picatinny rail for mounting various optics. Similar sight radius of M4 carbines. Flip up front and rear iron sights, fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Standard AR trigger / fire control group, hand tuned to approximately 5lbs pull. Trigger components are 100% shielded from dirt during cycling and in full lock up. Trigger length to grip is .5" longer then standard AR-15 to provide proper finger tip location on trigger. Bolt has adjustable detent for positive lock up. Rear rubber bolt buffer to prevent metal to metal impact during reward ejection of rounds. Components machined from solid bar stock. Hinged rear receiver for easy bolt removal and cleaning without removal of trigger housing.
